The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) announces the appointment of Malcolm Watkins as an Additional Director to the MFAA Board. This appointment will commence in November 2015.
Malcolm has over 30 years’ experience in the Australian finance industry and currently strategic responsibility for Australian Finance Group’s technology development programs and national marketing operations. His key focus is extracting real and tangible returns on the investments made to date and leveraging the strengths of companies today to further expand market share, profitability and brand awareness.
Malcolm has overseen the investment and delivery of industry leading technology platform and tools that enable sustained growth and has led development and evolution marketing initiatives and solutions to enable ongoing profitability. He has stated that the way that brokers respond to the digital age will determine the future of the industry. “The MFAA plays an important role in an increasingly complex regulatory environment and is the advocate for the industry and its thousands of members working hard every day to meet the needs of their customers. Those members need a strong and informed representation. I am delighted to join the MFAA board and look forward to working with the board and management team as the MFAA positions itself as the voice of the industry,” states Malcolm.
