AFG has promoted Christa Malkin to National Manager of its Strategic Partners program, as part of a wider expansion and strengthening of the service offered to its larger brokerages.
The program delivers tailored support to meet the needs of AFG’s enterprise-sized businesses with tools, analytics and insights to support their growth.
Christa joined AFG in November 2021, bringing with her considerable experience in the Australian mortgage industry.
After providing exemplary support to AFG’s strategic partners across Australia, Christa has been promoted to National Manager, reporting to Them Lam, who is now Head of Strategic Partners and Recruitment.
As part of the expansion of the program, AFG has also appointed Atta Elkadi as a front-line Support Manager. Before joining AFG, Atta worked at NAB for more than a decade, holding multiple roles in business support.
She joins existing team members Adam Barker, Manager, Strategic Partners Queensland, and Perth based Corinne Kennedy and Sam Bostock who continue to provide dedicated operational support across all states.
Them said Christa’s leadership, combined with the expansion of the important program through key hires, would add further value for broking groups striving to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
“AFG has bolstered its best-in-class team for our strategic partners program, as we continue delivering support to our key groups as they profitably manage and grow their businesses,” he said.
Christa said she was proud to take on a national leadership role, further enhancing the way AFG delivers value to its strategic partners and supporting them in brokering a better future for all Australians.
