AFG has bolstered its support of the network’s national Strategic Partner program with the appointment of Christa Malkin.
AFG National Manager Strategic Partners and Recruitment Them Lam explained the appointment. “All brokerages have common problems to solve however different operating models means they require different levels of support. The AFG Strategic Partners program delivers tailored support to meet the needs of AFG’s enterprise-sized brokerages with tools, analytics and insights to support their growth.
“I am delighted to appoint such an experienced operator to the AFG team supporting our Strategic Partners. Christa is a very talented professional and brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Christa joins AFG most recently from Bluestone, where she held the role of Partnerships & Enablement Manager for the company’s white label program. She has extensive experience in lending having also worked as State Manager in the broker divisions of Westpac, Bank of Melbourne, and Bankwest.
“Christa has also spent time honing her skills to understand small businesses better, working with a large broker group in Melbourne and as General Manager for the Ciaron Maher Racing stable,” he said. “Christa brings a deep understanding of lending and a fresh perspective, which we know she will apply to support our Strategic Partners’ teams.”

Christa will be based in Victoria and will be supporting AFG’s Strategic Partners across the country.
