As a national company with head office located in Perth, 15 head office staff members – from across a range of departments – recently met with proud Nyoongar woman Kerry Stack, at Kings Park, to learn more about her life, the Nyoongar people and culture.
Ms Stack, who grew up on an Aboriginal reserve near Pingelly, spoke about her own experiences, and how past legislation and policies affected, and are still impacting upon, the Nyoongar people today.
Adrian Mullee, a member of AFG’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, said the enlightening event was just the first step in understanding the rich culture and lived experience of the Nyoongar people.
